Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine Moves To New Scottsdale Location
The Arizona Center for Advanced Medicine has moved to new and larger quarters, at 8841 East Bell Road, in Scottsdale, to accommodate the need for additional services.
A functional medicine-trained gastroenterologist, cardiologist and oncologist will all begin practice at the center within the next few months. Expansion of supplement sales is now possible with an improved display area.
The IV room, where nutritional and therapeutic intravenous injections are performed, is larger and can accommodate more patients. Private treatment rooms are available for cancer patients undergoing insulin-potentiation therapy as an alternative to conventional chemotherapy for cancer.
The front desk can accommodate reception needs for multiple physicians, and the billing area has been moved to a more private location and larger size.
The expansion is due largely to an increasing interest in alternatives to the “disease management” model espoused by conventional pharmaceutical-based medicine. Although this model is very good for treating acute illness, there has been a significant failure of conventional medicine to prevent illness and to deal with chronic illness. Adverse short-term and long-term reactions to pharmaceutical medications are frequent and can be severe.
