Learn About Improving Brain Processing

A free informational session will be held at 6:30 p.m., August 21, in Tempe, about SIRRI, a brain-based developmental rehabilitation and learning center, offering comprehensive programs and services to help children and adults with autism, ADD/ADHD, sensory processing disorder, developmental delays, learning disabilities and acquired brain injury improve their balance, coordination, attention, focus, memory and processing skills, visual and auditory processing, fine and gross motor skills and organization of task and impulsivity, and to teach self-regulation and generalization or carry-over into other environments such as school.

QEEG (brain mapping) and neurofeedback training are available. SIRRI is an exclusive provider in the area of the Sensory Learning Program to help build a stronger neurological and developmental foundation and improve visual, auditory and vestibular processing via vision therapy, auditory integration training and vestibular therapy. Cognitive retraining improves speed of processing, memory, logic skills, and visual and auditory processing while decreasing visual and auditory distractibility. The reading program assists with reading development through improved phonetics, comprehension and fluency.
