Prana Gyana Holistic Center Celebrates Fifth Anniversary
Prana Gyana Holistic Health and Wellness Center, in Tempe, is celebrating five years of providing services to the community. A free event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., December 1, with therapeutic yoga classes for stress relief, talks on Ayurveda, holistic nutrition, mind-body connection through functional medicine, chair massage, vegetarian cooking demos, meditation art work and henna as an art form, along with healthy snacks throughout the day.
Prana Gyana means, “knowledge of life force energy,” and founder Anita Rangaswami is passionate about empowering people with natural tools and techniques to lead and advocate a healthy lifestyle that results in regaining energy and maintaining total mind, body and spirit wellness.
Ayurveda looks at the root cause of disease symptoms and works to remove them at a physical, mental and emotional level. Prana Gyana yoga classes are therapeutic, incorporating specific breathing techniques, and meditation classes allow participants to go deep within to reconnect with the universal source.
