Growing Bazaar at Root Phoenix

The Root Phoenix’s Growing Bazaar takes place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday through the spring. It’s a market with a twist, with ready-to-grow food and answers to most “How do I grow a garden in Phoenix?” questions. It features Urban Farm Nursery, a full-service, edible-only nursery, local vendors with seasonal veggie and herb plants, heirloom seeds, organic compost, fruit trees and more.

At each Bazaar, Root Phoenix offers classes on topics such as Jump Start Your Garden, composting, canning, sewing and learning how to play a guitar. Plus, on most Saturdays they offer free mini-workshops on a variety of gardening topics. The Root Phoenix staff and vendors are well-versed in helping create an edible landscape and garden.
