Kudos to Shalom Montessori

The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality has given special recognition to the 18 months-8th grade Shalom Montessori@McCormick Ranch, in Scottsdale. It is the city's first and only environmentally healthy school. This award was presented at the school's weekly farmer’s market held from 3-7 p.m., Tuesdays, one of their many "green" initiatives.

The mission of Shalom Montessori@McCormick Ranch is to provide an excellent nurturing green Jewish Montessori environment in which to celebrate and foster each child’s natural love of learning. This school has open enrollment and accepts everyone regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.
