Desert Institute is a Full-Service Physical Therapy Resource

The Desert Institute of Physical Therapy (DIPT), in Scottsdale, opened in 1993 and has grown from a two-person operation to a staff of more than 15, including physical therapists, athletic trainers, massage therapists and physical therapy technicians. The staff at DIPT prides themselves on the highest level of customer service while ensuring positive results through compassionate, one-on-one care. Approximately 70 percent of all DIPT patients are referred from past patients, friends or family. 

The staff at DIPT helps patients that have suffered bodily injury and/or pain. Each patient receives specific manual therapy treatments, prescriptive exercise, body mechanics and postural training. All patients are thoroughly educated in regards to their injury and/or pain, and are prescribed a home program, which can help reduce the recurrence of their present condition. 

DIPT is also directly affiliated with Medicine in Motion (MIM), LLC. MIM is a traveling sports medicine company and is the proud official provider for ESPN's Summer, Winter, and all International X Games competitions. DIPT and MIM have recently collaborated in providing onsite medical care and rehabilitation for the upcoming Arizona High School Cycling League.
