NAMI Valley Walk

NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Valley Walk, the Maricopa County Chapter of NAMI Walks, holds a walk every year to increase awareness in Arizona about mental illness and the devastating effects that it has on the lives of millions of Americans (one in four) every year. This year’s 10th annual event will take place on October 18 on the grounds of the state capitol, with registration from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., when the walk begins. Volunteers can help by participating in the walk, donating to the walk or donating on behalf of a particular walker.
