AzRC Conference is Thinking Outside the Bin

The 2014 Arizona Recycling Coalition (AzRC) Conference, Waste Diversion: Thinking Beyond the Blue Bin, will take place on October 22 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Gilbert, focusing on unique waste diversion methods and processes that go beyond curbside recycling programs.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Michael Washburn. Sessions begin at 9 a.m. and include discussions such as Sustainability Trends, Let's Put on a Show: Media & Diversion, The Academics of Recycling with Colin Tetreault, Today's Wine Industry and C&D Waste and What's Really in the Blue? Waste Characterization and Why it's Important.

AzRC is a nonprofit organization of professionals and citizens in private, public and nonprofit sectors throughout Arizona that have pledged to promote recycling.
