Solar Valuation Course for Appraisers
A residential and commercial solar valuation course will be taught by the former Vice-Chair of Education for the Appraisal Institute, Sandy Adomatis, of Adomatis Appraisal Services, in Punta Gorda, Florida, November 13 and 14. The course offers 15 CEUs and those having taken the previous two-day course last December 2013, will remain on the AI website as green certified appraisers.
As the country continues to search for energy alternatives, properties improved with solar PV (photovoltaic) are becoming more common, creating demand for appraisers trained in properly valuing solar PV. This hands-on course introduces students to solar terminology and through real-life examples and case studies on both residential and commercial properties shows how to solve solar-related valuation problems.
Registration is $215, and includes a one-year USGBC membership. CEUs are available. To register, visit usgbcaz.org. For more information, call Jan Green at 602-620-2699 or email [email protected].
