Sedona School of Massage Enrollment is Open
Sedona School of Massage offers a holistic education focusing on some of the deeper, more effective modalities in an atmosphere of relaxation around learning. Classes are now forming for the fall session, which runs from September 9 to January 29, 2016. A 700-hour certification program satisfies the requirements for Arizona state licensure and prepares students to sit for the national certification exam and the MBLEX.
Study includes communication and the development of therapeutic skills, ethics, and basic business practices, with an introduction to herbology, homeopathy, aromatherapy and hydrotherapy.
Within the Anatomy and Physiology portion of the curriculum, bodywork modalities include Swedish, polarity, connective tissue therapy (myofascial techniques), shiatsu, neuromuscular therapy, Ortho-Bionomy, CranioSacral Therapy and more. Also included is kinesiology, yoga, nomadics, chigong, ball spinning and juggling, and hiking into the wild nature all around the campus.
