Connecting Head, Heart and Hands
Colette Savage, an educator and trainer from Ireland, will present a two-hour talk, Connecting Head, Heart and Hands, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., October 14, at the B~Well Center of Scottsdale. She will demonstrate that when we connect with the present moment using our minds, and then check in with our hearts before we carry out an action with our hands, we will connect to our own innate goodness. Proceeds benefit Mindfulness First, an Arizona nonprofit providing mindfulness education to central and northern Arizona. Their experienced instructors offer mindfulness training in schools, communities and corporations.
Integrating modern NLP techniques and values-based ethics with ancient wisdom, Savage teaches a variety of classes to children, teens and parents. Her approach to connect the head, heart and hands uses a set of universal values to help guide us to happiness and harmony. “If we use these universal values of love, peace, truth, right action and non-violence to guide our thinking, these values will then guide our actions,” says Savage.
