Learn How to Tame Sleep Disorders
The Koala Center for Sleep Disorders – Biltmore is offering a 30-minute informational seminar, Treating Obstructive Sleep Apnea, Snoring and TMJ with Oral Appliance Therapy, at 5 p.m., June 14, in Phoenix.
The job of the oral appliance is to prevent the obstruction that occurs when the lower jaw, tongue and tissues in the back of the throat become relaxed during sleep and collapse into the narrow airway space.
Beth Hamann, DDS, and Shari Aftahi, DMD, have 50 years of combined experience in dentistry and advanced training in the treatment of sleep disorders.
