Way of the Seabhean Retreat
Shamanic healer and teacher Amantha Murphy, who follows the path of the goddess, will hold a Way of the Seabhean retreat for women only from October 21 through 23. The Seabhean is she that crosses the path between the worlds, holding the presence and inner-seeing of the shaman and the wisdom of the cailleach (old woman). This shamanic tradition goes back over many thousands of years. Each clan, or grouping of people, held in reverence the shamanic way that allows a person to journey into these worlds for healing, answers and visions, which bring a sense of continuity, wholeness and integration for self and for the clan.
Murphy started working professionally in 1971 as a clairvoyant, moved into trance mediumship and healing within three years, and works with groups and individuals in the UK, Canada and the U.S. Her passion is the land and returning to the land’s story by working through the Grandmothers and the Shining Ones, the tuatha de danann.
