Finding A Spiritual Master

Two workshops based on Flying With Dragons, the newest book from Master Stephen Colwell about the journey of finding a spiritual master, are entertaining, informative and interactive. He will address soul, karma, reincarnation and how to find and recognize a true master, from 7 to 9 p.m., August 24, at Changing Hands Bookstore, in Phoenix, and August 25, at New Vision Center, in Scottsdale.

“During the workshop, many of the attendees connect with my stories and my experiences, especially people who are just awakening to the spiritual journey, are not satisfied that they have found the right teacher or practice and are still searching,” says Colwell. “I share with them that the journey is not a straight road from darkness and ignorance to enlightenment and bliss. There are many paths leading to the top of the mountain; the important task is explore, try different modalities and decide for yourself what teacher or tradition is best for you at any given point in your soul journey.”

Colwell is a master teacher of the Tao Academy of Master Zhi Gang Sha and the owner of Soul Light Services, a spiritual counseling business in Boulder, Colorado.
