Love vs Attachment with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa

Buddha taught that love is the great protector. Come learn more with Gen-la Kelsang Jampa.

Buddha taught that love is the great protector. Both we ourselves and others are protected by love from harmful actions and suffering, and a loving heart inspires us to treat others with consideration and kindness. However, our love is often mixed with attachment, which makes us possessive, anxious and easily hurt. Come explore Buddha’s wisdom teachings on how to discern the difference between the two & discover methods to weaken our attachment while strengthening love.

SUNDAY SCHEDULE

On Sundays, the Temple opens at 9:15 am for Prayers for World Peace. The grounds and gift shop open at 10:30 am for the Sunday Adult Class and Dharma for Families Class. If attending the class, you have the option to purchase a vegetarian meal for $10 and join our community for lunch at 12:30 pm in the dining room. Temple tours, the café, and the gift shop are open from 12:30 to 3:00 pm every Sunday. Feel free to explore the neighboring Kaibab National Forest, offering a perfect space for relaxation and reflection after the Sunday class.
