The Fifth Annual PHX Vegan Food Festival

On Saturday, February 29, from noon to 10 p.m., the
PHX Vegan Food Festival, presented by Davisson Entertainment, returns to
Margaret T. Hance Park, in downtown Phoenix, for its fifth anniversary season.
Brand new for this year’s festival, the event is expanding from a strictly
daytime event to an all-day and nighttime one.
The festival will showcase more than 100 of the
state’s most beloved vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants, food trucks and
vendors, as well as some out of town favorites. Restaurants, bakeries, food
trucks, and food and beverage artisans will be selling their delicious
creations. In addition, product and service vendors will be showcasing and
selling their vegan-friendly offerings, including household products, health
and wellness items, and clothing and accessories. Other festival highlights include
live music; vegan-friendly wine, beer and cocktails; live art demonstrations
and performing arts presentations; chef and expert demos; a yoga Zen Zone; and
a kids’ activity area. Into the evening, the festival site will transform into
a more adult-oriented, after-dark event with energetic music, lawn games,
electric light shows, LED (light-emitting diode) and glow performers, and
UV (ultraviolet) black light-activated chalk art and face paint.
